Real Couples | Real Stories

I think it's really important for photographers to show complete client galleries when presenting their work to potential clients. Anyone can put together a selection of standout images for a portfolio, blog, or social media, but what's really key is showing that your photographer can handle the real challenges of a wedding day. This includes dealing with unpredictable weather, various lighting conditions, and managing group dynamics—all without the luxury of do-overs.

So, I recommend that clients look closely at photographers portfolios to make sure they're seeing real wedding documentation, not just staged model shoots at a remote exotic location. These stylized shoots can sometimes give a misleading impression of experience with luxury weddings, as they are often carefully arranged scenarios, done by multiple photographers at the same time, and for a fee.

The images on my website are from real weddings in the Chicagoland area, capturing authentic moments and emotions. Every shot has been carefully selected and edited by me, showcasing my true expertise.

To respect clients privacy, passwords to the real client galleries are provided during the consultation.

We can’t say enough about Tom! He was by far our favorite vendor we selected, and he was a fraction of the cost compared to these “Instagram” photographers. He was kind, easy to work with, kept us on track during our wedding - even some of our guests commented how much they liked our photographer! Choose Tom.
