I had the pleasure of photographing Sally and Christian for a cover story in Batavia Living Magazine. Their journey is a heartwarming tale of high school sweethearts from St. Charles who reconnected a decade later while living in Chicago. Now, ten months after their wedding, they’ve settled into their first home in Batavia, where they’re enjoying life with their dog, Ollie, and taking in all the Fox Valley has to offer.

Our session began with a stroll around Batavia’s Riverwalk, and we wrapped up at their charming new home. Though I hadn’t met Sally and Christian before, I discovered they are practically neighbors. One of the aspects I truly cherish about my job is the opportunity to meet wonderful people I might not have encountered otherwise.
